When Mr Abrams will have an own Star Trek he should do it with his Home Camera and view it on his videorecorder.

Not sure who you think you are, but stop whining about this movie. IF YOU DON"T LIKE IT, DON"T WATCH IT!!! (wow, that was difficult to figure out...)

1.It is a court-martial offence for a midshipman to imitate a Commodore.
2. WATCH the film.
3.Change your drugs.
4.If you're expecting a really quality bit of film give it to Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
5. The Titanic existed in real-life. (Reality, in everyday usage, means "the state of things as they actually exist". The term reality, in its widest sense, includes everything that is, whether or not it is observable or comprehensible. ...)
6.Why am I in such a *****y mood?

What is so fresh and new to take the excuse of an alternate universe in order to go back over territory already covered?

You might find that the oversized deflector dish is one of the few things Ryan Church got right on the new design...
