Good God, Q or Trelaine? Time travel or the Guardian? What next? Colonel Mustard in the Study with the Revolver? Right now I could probably come up with several dozen probable plots... but odds are, none are correct.... Case in point... CLOVERFIELD... I heard it was Godzilla, Cthulthu and so on.... Guess what, none were right....

The teaser trailer shows a primary hull that looks like the Constitution refit... Well what if it is a refit, being retrofitted back into it's original configuration at a museum that is being rechristened the Enterprise in order to honor the memory of the now dead James T. Kirk? What IF? What if, exactly... We have no way of telling and for those of you who are going to have difficulties with this movie and how it changes STAR TREK canon... Remember Wrath of Khan... Khan never forgets a face, especially that of a cast member who was not part of the show when the episode of SPACE SEEDS was done.... or Zephram Cochrane of ALPHA CENTAURI... oops no, First Contact now says of Earth.... STAR TREK CANON? There is no canon... Trek's only major consistency is it's ability to be inconsistence!

So for all you die hard TREK Canonizers... take a chill pill with your red kool-aid and relax for the next 10 months!
