So far the movie has garnered a score of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes. Of course that's based only on 27 reviews so far and the percentage could very well drop once the movie opens but I'd say it bodes well...

I found my omnibus edition of Watchmen yesterday and leafed through it, I haven't read it in years. It was actually refreshing to look at something that to me looked like comic book art.

I plan on rereading it during the course of the week. Anyone heard how faithful the movie is to the original comics?

I've heard, while faithful to the original work, there are divergences. I decided not to reread it until after I've seen the movie. Hopefully I'll of a better mindset to appreciate the film for itself. I've high hopes. I want to love it. Four more days.
