I hope he 'just didn't get it'. Other reviews have been positive. My fingers are crossed. I really want to be satisfied with this movie. I've loved the comic from the very first issue back in the eighties.

well i didnt find any ther reviews,just the ign and the yahoo one,both are negative,i respect the opinion of the british media they are just

The Yahoo! reviewer obviously didn't "get it," and I never, EVER trust anything IGN says. Pay it no mind.

I think the title of this thread makes a giant, uninformed leap based on very few reviews yet -- great if you want to make an eye-catching thread title, but very poor if anyone wants to discuss a movie instead of blindly slamming it based on a stranger's opinion.
I'll be seeing and reviewing the movie for myself next Thursday, until then my mind is open.

I forget how threads work, but if you created the thread, you MIGHT be able to edit the thread title. If so, great... the discussion is all good, just the title could be more constructive to discussion.
