Ever since TNG started, every series began with the tradition of having a guest star from the previous handing-off the torch to the next.

TOS: McCoy --> TNG: Data
TNG: Picard --> DS9: Sisko
DS9: Quark --> VOY: Kim/Paris
VOY: Cochrane --> ENT: Archer

Even the movies had it.

TOS: Kirk --> TNG: Picard

Do y'all think this movie should continue the hand-off tradition of ENT --> TOS v0.5? And who, T'Pol or Phlox? We know T'Pol could still be alive though she'd be around 200; as for Phlox we don't know anything about how long his people live so maybe he might still be there. Yes I know in E^2 we didn't see Phlox, but he could have been elsewhere on the ship or there could have been an accident that brought his end before his time.

Sorry, but not a single person from the show ENT should even step foot on set for this movie.

I liked ENT, but seeing how the show failed, bringing in a person from that show may not be a good idea.

Unless Archer is still alive, he'd be the only one, but I agree it's Spock that is handing the torch off.

yeah. In this case it is a non-traditional hand-off, but keeps the tradition of the hand-off intact.

I agree. I don't think anybody from ENT will appear in the movie. The only logical choice would be Tupal, but I don't see it happening. Nimoy will probably be the one that hands off the torch.
