Or maybe they'll just redress the Ent bridge set, like they did in TWOK. Saves alot of $$$.

I don't know...
It could just be the Enterprise under Red Alert.
Or maybe it's the Kelvin.
Has anyone thought about doing some in-depth analyzing of the helm/tactical station in the two pictures? Personally I think they look about the same.

Have they not all been struck by now? I wouldn't have thought there was anything left to redress.

Look at the Kelvin itself, it certainly looks more Trek than anything in the trailer, other than the Kelvin shots of course!
I was thinking the same thing.... would help to settle down the canonites! Especially if it takes place in the beginning of the move. Kind of like "Ok, here is "your" Trek, but look out! Here come a time traveler who just changed the timeline!" Everything is going to be a little different! Now shut up and enjoy our movie!!!"

Default it's only my opinion but...

I think the bridge is simply darker because the Kelvin is engaged in battle. If that's the case, then is no way to know just how bright the bridge is under normal conditions.

Looks to me like it's just the backstage area like you've seen in other pics of JJ on the set...

I think some were basing it on the shape of the console behind Abrams. It does seem much more like TOS design than we have seen before.

As I said saves alot of $$$ to redress what you have, rather than building new sets.
