he's quite frankly the best author trek has. i always said he should have launched the new frontier.

Many of Blish's adaptations were based on earlier versions of the scripts, especially the first couple of adaptation books...so some events differ noticeably from his version to the actual episode.

Funny how Blish's TOS adaptations took an hour episode and boiled it down to about 10 pages, while Alan Dean Foster, in doing the same job on TAS made 1/2 hour episodes into 30 pages or more...
