Any facts or rumours about the casting of Christine Chapel in the movie?

I almost wish they'd cast Rachel Nichols as Chapel. That seems like it would have been a more natural fit to me. *shrugs*

I think Nicole Kidman would fit the role nicely, but it would probably be too expensive to cast her.

She's too old and Chapel isn't a starring role, so she wouldn't take it.

They need to cut loose the old cast and replace them with new talent. I think Mila Jovovich would make a great nurse.

I didn't explore the new cast. Heck, the trailer didn't show much. So I'm left to wonder.
