Default CGI Anime of M'Ress from TAS

I think a CGI of M'Ress from ST: TAS would be a cool addition to the crew, but done in a more anime style, like "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within."

To this, but done in CGI...

As in ST: TAS, she worked communication when Lt. Uhurah was off duty.
Tell me whatcha think? Great idea? Leave on the cutting room floor?

Um, no.

If one is to do M'reſs as an Anime character, 'tis all well and good, but ſhe ſhould not be ſo highly antrhopomorphized.

That ſaid, I think ſhe ſhould be left out of the movie altogether anyway, on the principle of Canon.

Yeah....no.

Being a huge fan of Caitians (I developed Caitian culture and language for a free-form RPG I wrote for in the late 90s-early 00s), the anime "cat girl" thing is completely inappropriate.

If you wanted to do a purely anime version Star Trek...maybe. But, for any serious non-anime Star Trek effort, there's no real place for that style of art.

Wasn't there a Caitian stripper in STV?

I don't think that a live action M'Ress should be done in CG, have none of you ever seen Doctor Who? They have had Cat people, or more specifically Cat nurses:

I dunno where that one is from, but I prefer the Doctor Who ones. Because they are brilliant! Especially when you see them move!

Beauty and the Beast. That's Ron Perlman (Hellboy).
