Mine, too. And for the same reasons.

I love "Operation- Annihilate" and the new visuals they added are stellar with the satellite footage!

I'd have to with "WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE" as being dramatically under-rated. This episode did set the tone for Kirk's character, in that nothing... including his own life was more "paramount" (a little joke) than the safety of his ship and his crew.....

Default In another life, we would be called brothers

For me, "Balance of Terror" is the most under-rated episode, and my favorite.

I know I'm going to get a lot of flack for this, but I think "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" is an underrated show. Granted, it was a bit obvious, over the top and in your face, but the underlying message was powerful for the day. It's one of the Star Trek episodes where the message being sent was clear.

You shouldn't get any flack at all, Oregon. This is a thread asking your own opinion on underrated episodes, and you shared your opinion... that can't be 'wrong' in any way. Good choice, too.

Don't know if it's underrated, but I always liked Doomsday Machine. Decker's pain is just so powerful. Great job by the actor.

Spock's Brain. While it isn't my favorite episode from the 3rd season, I believe it IS under-rated and just had the bad fortune of being the opening episode of season 3. It would have faired much better in the middle of the season where a black comedy probably would have worked better. I actually found it interesting that Spock could talk without a brain but had to have that thing on his head in order to move. I remember the alien chicks being hot and thinking that they could have MY brain any time.
