One major change I can spot is that you got rid of those big chrome header stripes where the descriptions of the cast once existed. Those were hard to read with thin black font on a gradation 'chrome' background. The new 'index' page looks much cleaner and readability is 100%.

Don't like the new look, there was nothing wrong with the old, which I was used to and comfortable with. Why does this new version just use half the screen?

Yes those descriptions were very long.
I like the use of Trek font
the glowing gradients used on this page setup and the tactical schematic used above. Familar but improved/

Hm, I still can't see the spoiler button. Perhaps my screen settings are too dark.

Hmm, the big chrome description bars of TV, Films, Literature are back now... I thought they were gone last night. I still find them distracting and a bit hard to read with the darkest gradation behind the black font.

But the spoiler button now has [s] in the black square... nicely done!

I've circled the spoiler button in light blue. Are you not seeing it when you make replies? I think you need to use the advance reply to see it, not quick reply:
