Well, they're paying 9mil for these 3 ads so they better make a lot at the box office. I just hope the Trek ad is new. Surprising that there hasn't been some sort of leak about it.

I think that the point of announcing you're airing a commercial during a broadcast is to make you watch the whole broadcast to make sure you don't miss it (at least from the network's point of view).

I agree that it will probably be during the 1st half, or possibly halftime. During the second half we start to see repeats of a few of them, and people start to lose interest in the commercials.

I'm pretty sure they won't show the US commercials in Germany. They'll show our own stuff.

No one here is interested in watching the game itself? Yeah, yeah, even if the Steelers are favored by 500 points...

What game? I just heard that there was going to be a Star Trek thing!

(But, in all seriousness, I really don't actually know what type of sporting game is being held at this 'Superbowl'. And I don't mind not knowing!)

Is it a clip from the movie or a new trailer? Last I heard was it was the trailer out now, maybe with a few adjustments.

The current trailer would be strange, because that one already runs at theaters and the web since some time. Would be nothing new.
