Cool Color/Style of Enterprise weapons?

First off, what color of weapons would you like to see? In TOS and TMP, the phasers were blue, but in TWoK, they were red....which color would you prefer? Also, the style of how the weapons are depicted changed quite a bit. Would you like to see the phasers and torpedoes as they appeared in TOS? Or would you like to see them as they appeared in TWoK, phasers being machine gun style and torpedoes being that ball of intense light? Or like the TNG era where the phasers are solid and more lazer-like? Personally, I would like to see TWoK phasers and torpedoes. I would also like to see blue phasers and red torpedoes.

Ship weapon F/X like TWoK and hand weapon F/X like TNG Type II Cobra Phasers. And in general everything one color theme, that being fiery-orange beams/torpedo exhaust.

LOL. I used to have a fit watching TOS when phaser beams were sometimes depicted as RED because my favorite color was BLUE. Having said that, I'd love to see solid blue phasers and red torpedoes. Then again, I'm one of those purist/canonistas or whatever we're being called lately. Regardless of what they choose, I hope for consistency throughout the film.

I'd like to see the photons that had the rays of light shooting out of them.

According to the colors of the set and the costumes, going with more neutrals (phasers) and a few bright colors (for phasers shots and torpedoes) would be most effective. I would like to see the phasers completely redone in design (less blocky, more streamlined).

Well, from the trailer and the intel site, the Kelvin's phasers fire as both blue/white bolts and red beams. It'll probably be the same for the Enterprise. Also from the trailer, the romulan torpedoes hitting the Kelvin are clearly seen with no glow other than exhaust (kinda look like green tholian ships actually). So the Enterprises torpedoes may be glow-less aswell.

Default it's only my opinion but...

I'd like to see the Maco's as seen on Enterprise make an appearance. Redhsirts are great for internal security but the Maco's kick butt for away missions!

Red, blue, green or white beamed phasers? How about bright orange.

Bright white solid line that takes a second to fade out. Think lightning that's had all the wrinkles ironed out of it. For the torpedoes, the normal reddish exhaust thing until about halfway to the target when you see a little warp flash as it accelerates toward its destination

UFP Starfleet includes militarical duties, probably because the UFP was shortly founded after the Eart-Romulan War.
Earth Starfleet was a little naive about meeting only nice people in space, that's why at once they needed the help of the military in the Xindi crisis. But given that experience and the incooperation of the military in space agencies of the Vulcans and Andorians, my best guess is that UFP Starfleet is an 'all under one roof organization'. Besides Section 31 of course

I think the MACOs were just the ENT version of the Hazard Team
