The model of the E from FC was accurate to the drawings that paramount had done before the production process had begun, this is how the ship would of looked if they hadnt changed it a few months before the film was realeased, thats why the model looks so different, and thats why when insurrection came out they changed the mold slightly, plus sculpts have come along way since then, just look at the Diamond Select toys for instance, and i dont know why that pic is used in nemesis because it is obviously an old graphic used before the ship was finalized back in FC. But i have to say this new E model looks gorgeous and iam going to buy it even though my girlfriend keeps rolling her eyes at me lol. Just one question tho, why is the penetrant (starfleet logo) not in the origanal release pic? it just finishes the ship off

The lack of good film lighting/CGI on the plastic model do indeed give the ship a slight resemblance (especially the nacelles) to a marine pleasure craft.

From what I've see in the trailer, there's pleasure on board that craft.
