Holy crap I remember you from TGL!
You were all, anti anything new, bitter about everything anyone threw at you.
I see you haven't changed in the past 5 years...at all.

I voted for Trek, btw.

Trek is about where it should be on the list. Why stuff the ballot box and have it attributed to Trek geekiness?

Voted for Star Trek of course - and noted that when I did vote, it was in third place - not bad! Sad to see this post by "Scorned" - "tiny tunes" etc. - as someone said, how can you criticize something you've not even seen - and if you are so sure you will not like it so much, why did you even bother to join this forum? Too much time on your hands, obviously, perhaps a job or hobby would help - or even some human contact????

If somebody smiled when they saw my avatar, well then I met my objective. I love Star Trek, but I'm not here just for me.

Insults and attacks though, what does that do and for who? It may do something for you, but who did it help?

Think about it. I beleive you may benefit by giving it some sincere thought. Who did you put down today, and who did you lift up?
Sorry if you thought I was speaking to you, but if you go back to re-read, I was quoting the Troll with one post who called this "A "Tiny Toon" Trek Travesty."

Specifically, the quote being:

" Originally Posted by Scorned View Post

I even quoted it in my original post.

Thanks

BTW guys, Star Trek is now SECOND PLACE, barely edging out "Dark Knight," with 20% of the vote.

as far as this movie goes, here is the premice that i read about.
Spock looks back on the old days when he meets Kirk in the acadamy.
Fortunately, this would long appear to be wrong. The actors have signed on for 3 movies, and Spock actually as scenes with the younger crew. Does that sound like a "looking back at the old days" type script? Do you really think Leonard Nimoy would come out of retirement for such a thing?

First contact was the first startrek movie to start breaking the continuity.
Not really. Star Trek has been contradicting it's own continuity even before that.

i think this movie will be no different. ill wait till its on DVD at walmart sorry guys
That's unfortunate you came to this conclusion based on some very outdated and incorrect things you've read.

Might I recommend you go to www.trekmovie.com and find out more about the movie
