Cool JJ the SW Fan Strikes Back?

Hmmm...a troubled young boy on a motorcycle, speeding across a countryside dominated by monolithic structures in the distance...

Is it:

Young James T. Kirk in STXI...

or is it:

Young Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine in Ep. II...?

Is this what they meant by "putting a little Star Wars in Star Trek"?

Depends. Is Kirk about to slaughter everyone like animals? Even the women and children?

Edit: Am I the only one who thinks Anakin's slaugter was completely justified and beneficial to Tattooine?

I don't know that random killing is ever actually justified, imo.

Anyways, I think they meant more with the effects shots and some of the action. We know that ILM (a Lucasfilm company) is doing the CG graphics and that, take for example, Sulu is going to be swashbuckling with Nero.

I don't want any damn Star Wars in my Star Trek. If I wanted Star Wars, I'd watch ****ing Star Wars.

There are SW elements in the new Trek movie, namely a three-dimensional space feeling, a step aways from the usual subway-style of Trek.
We will find out if they also adopted SW's bad writing in May, I have no evidence speaking for or against that.

Okay easy there Turbo...let's not blow a gasket. I guess sarcasm is lost on you. My last post was sarcastic just to clue you in. No one here want to see a James T. Skywalker happen. I don't believe Lucas will let to much of his SW machination seep out and splatter on Abrams ST.

Abrams messed up when he said that. He should have told us something like " The Space Battles will have a more Star Wars feel" Some Fans are freaking out that this will be Star Wars, with the name Star Trek. I personally welcome a little bit of wars into Trek, but don't ruin the main idea of Trek with stupid aliens just fighting over nothing. Heres a list of keeps and donts:

KEEP IN STAR TREK:
* The sense of exploration.
* Going Deep into the characters
* The settings
* The types of ships, and bases
* Keep It HUMANISH!

MORE WARS:
* Space battles have a faster and more exciting pace.
* Take this movie to the next level with retro and excitement.

DO NOT USE WARS WITH:

Those little moments in the star wars storys that they just walk around and talk talk talk talk talk on and on.. Booooorring!
