Default Mirror Universe: The Mini-Series

Paramount could make an absolute cash-killing in a foundational syndication mini-series about the Hoshi Sato Dynasty. Aside from Turning Hoshi into a Trek Cult figure, the toy spinoffs alone could make the Mirror Universe a going concern.

Any takers?

Sure, but wouldn't that require "thought" on their part?

Thought, innovation, and actors actually hamming it up. This would require Paramount to actually think outside box.

I'm given to understand that all the ENT actors thoroughly enjoyed doing the "Darkly" episodes, so they could play out their evil selves. You make it a mini-series to keep the "Mirror" Concept fresh so you can bring it out every few years. The central figure is, of course, Empress Sato (reprised by Linda Park) and how she survives to rule the Empire.

Thus, we find that even evil people have a reason for doing what they do.

I got a kick out of the mirror Phlox. Casually dissecting the living critter in Sick Bay, cheerfully talking about the Agony Booth inflicting pain right on the nerves, etc. Was quite the flip from our usual guy.

The Mirror universe is great because it allows a character to do whatever they want.
Selfishness and impulse are the standard.
The Sato story would be a good one to bring to TV.

If ENT had a season 5, I bet we would have seen more of the mirror universe. Most everyone seemed to like the 2 episodes from season 4.

Yeah, after that finale of Mirror Darkly it was just screaming for more development of that storyline. I certainly would liked to have seen more.
