Yeah. I didn't like Gabe's design at first, but after seeing the Abramsprise, I really started to like Gabe's a lot more. Even if it looked like the 1701 had been assimilated, at least it kept the basic proportions right.

Nacelles and primary hull are ok, the secondary hull is disaster.

True. I'm not thrilled with the "busy" look of the secondary hull either. But given a choice, I would rather have Gabe's version than Church's. It just looks more like the original.
