Quantum Quest - NASA in 3D Starring 2 Kirks & 2 Vaders
The Taiwanese digital animation shop Digimax is making a film with NASA! In conjunction with NASA, their 3D feature "Quantum Quest" will be released to IMAX and traditional theatres later this year. According to Variety, the 10 million dollar picture will also feature some notable names in the voice talent department.
Not one but TWO Captain Kirks (William Shatner and Chris Pine) have signed on to "Quantum Quest" along with TWO Darth Vaders (James Earl Jones and Hayden Christensen). Also cast is Mark Hamill, Jason Alexander, Sandra Oh, Abigail Breslin, Samuel L. Jackson, Amanda Peet and astronaut Neil Armstrong. Along with digital animation, "Quantum Quest" will also feature actual images from seven ongoing NASA space missions.
