I actually kind of hope to get some growth with Uhura, Chekov, Sulu and Scotty.

Cyrano Jones. I'm always going to have a soft spot for Stanley Adams. Got to see him at one convention, but he sadly died before I ever got the chance to see him again. The man was a laugh riot to be around. He was a comic like Robin Williams, always "on stage" even when he wasn't.

I think I mentioned elsewhere that the other character I always watch for is Eddie Paskey, aka Lt. Leslie. The man was in 75% of all the TOS episodes, if you know where to look. He occasionally got a speaking line, and even was the driver of the truck that mowed down Edith Keeler in "City on the Edge." Watching for Eddie makes a great Trek drinking game, BTW....

the whole cast was lightening in a bottle. a truly wonderful group of people.
JJ has a job on his hands to try to recreate that.
