I quite like strong winds, as long as it's not too cold.

naw...these winds are HOT. They bring fire. The eucalyptus trees were shedding bark all day. It was almost impossible to walk outside without being hit by a bit of tree....
It's supposed to be 80 degrees tomorrow.

I don't mind the wind when I'm sitting inside watching it blow our latests 10" of snow about the yard!
I do mind it when it blows my recycling cans off the deck and I have to trudge through the snow picking up juice bottles and newspapers. Grrr. Still, that beats fire and tree projectiles!

Wind is my least favourite aspect of weather - give me rain, snow, sleet as hard as Mother Nature can give any day - but not the wind!
Luckily it doesn't bring fire where I live, that's even worse to have to deal with. |

Wind of the sunny south! oh, still delay In the gay woods and in the golden air, Like to a good old age released from care, Journeying, in long serenity, away. In such a bright, late quiet, would that I Might wear out life like thee, mid bowers and brooks, And, dearer yet, the sunshine of kind looks, And music of kind voices ever nigh; And when my last sand twinkled in the glass, Pass silently from men as thou dost pass
