Yeah, they know Kirk will kick his ***, so no further interference is needed.

I always found the Temporal Cold War and the whole Braxton/Relativity thing a little too extreme. Too much time travel....

However, I'm in favor of time travel's use in this film. It is the perfect way to restart (not necessarily reboot) the franchise.

I always thought it would be cool if section 31 were temporal investigations and that it was infact Spock who started it off - it would be logical with the amount of times Kirk tampered with time?

Spock: Alright Captain. You have messed with time to much. No telling how many things you have screwed up...I am going to start a new organization on the fringes of Starfleet to keep your butt in check.

If all this all this is true...Nevermind Nero with his one incursion into time. Why didn't these agencies go after Kirk? 17 seperate violations of the Temporal Prime Directive was it?[/quote]

lol true enough, but there are percentages as to how close the universe is put back to normal as the Voyager episode showed us, maybe Kirks violations are so minute (e.g. 0.0012%) that it does not matter, it did not cause the destruction of the galaxy and what we know of Nero's actions so far, he has made some pretty big changes. But 17 violations is quite a bit lol
