Hi Zim,

As you're fan of the TOS Enterprise, I'd recommend a few threads over at the trekbbs (of which Deg is a member).

http://trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=89810
http://trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=58313

The first link, shows CLB building up the ship whilst trying to iron out scaling inconsistencies and give the ship a solid internal structure. He's trying to stick to the original look as much as possible.

The second link, shows Vektors modernisation of the ship. It's a different take to Degs and the quality of the renders are amazing.

Thanks bunches! That is absolutely great! I have always been a fan of Vektor's version as well as Deg's. I just like Deg's better. But that's awesome. I'll definitely keep up with it. The first link will be invaluable to me for my cut-away TOS Enterprise model project I'm working on right now.

I could use some favorite ship shots for the jigsaw app to be included in the next release of my freeware LCARS system, but I have to know the source and have permission to use them. And they will be resized and/or clipped, as necessary, to fit the size (361 x 481 pixels). Credit can be at the bottom of the image but will at least be in the main help file. Prime Trekiverse only. The patttern is vertical, like this, to allow scattering of pieces on both sides:

I always thought ones like these were clever:
