Default Pine+Quinto on Kirk+Spock

http://trekweb.com/articles/2009/01/...on-Spock.shtml

The best parts:

Pine: I'm not well-versed in the Trek canon
Quinto: For the audition itself, I did wear a blue shirt and let my bangs hang down.
Quinto on Nimoy: We spent some time watching episodes but it was an all encompassing experience. We'd go to his house. We'd meet sometimes at Paramount. I'm seeing him before the holidays. He's an advanced mind and heart and I want to hang out with him as much as possible.
Quinto on haircut: I felt like I was 12 again.

Nice article...yet no new suprises. I like how Pine and Quinto were at the same gym and Quinto helped hook pine up with the role of Kirk.

I'm so jealous of the time Quinto and Nimoy got to spend together. I mean, who wouldn't like to get invited over to Len's house for the weekend to watch Trek together?

Yes, it's always a nice feeling when the on-screen heroes are also friends off-screen. It always bothered me that the original cast didn't always get along in their personal lives. That's one thing that is so great about Firefly.

Very good interview. The end was so funny about the haircut. I assumed Zach wore a wig! Poor guy. He has such beautiful hair. I guess Vulcans don't keep up with style or fashion. Just not a logical use of time... Maybe Spock will decide to change styles for the next movie.

I hear that. If Leonard Nimoy called me and invited me over for a Trek marathon, I'd ... well, I don't know. But it would really be something.

Yeah sure you would be non-chalant about an invite from Nimoy...Nevermind the handsprings you and all of us would be doing when no one is looking.

Where did I say I'd be nonchalant?
