Default A Better look at the New Enterprise

Found this image on Deviant Art. It was created by davemetlesits and is simply stunning and much better than the initial enterprise image we first saw.

To the man who created this wonderful peice of work, you have convinced me about the worthyness of this new vessel sir.

Excellent, but the ship is still strange. I guess no one could improve it.

It looks fine, but it still seems the secondary hull has been altered from the original photo. Or is that just me?

Stunning, Yes. A new appriciation for the movie Enterprise, I'm not so sure. Dave seems to have made many changes to the images we have seen from "Official" sources.

That top shot is much better without the shuttles and all that. It still looks fine to me.

I think more changes were made than I'm comfortable saying "improved" the design. I think the new Enterprise is what it is guys, and for what it's worth, it's better than some of the crappy kitbashes on the internet.

Thanks for taking out the shuttle and extending the saucer and nacelles. I like the new Enterprise. Not as much as the refit ST:TMP but it's much better than the flying hotel the 1701 D was. I really hated the 1701 E....looked like an old Mazda.
Has anyone else noticed that the "main screen" on the new bridge is actually a large window overlooking the top of the saucer section? It may double as a monitor and it seems to skew the view a bit, but it's definitely a window. I didn't notice it until I looked at the bridge of the Kelvin at https://boldlygo.intel.com/content/index.html.

There are definite scale differences on the rendition... (front end-size of the nacelles, flares of support-pylons, etc.)
