First it was the "Tele-tubbies".... Now it's the "Doodle-Bops!" How's a Ferengi supposed to make an honest living around here?!

Now there is something that you don't see everyday...The words "Ferengi and Honest" colliding in the same sentence...lol

Captain Mouse and Horatio....

Good ones!

My personal favorite Ferengi RoA: Every now and then, declare peace. It'll confuse the hell out of your enemies.

(At lest, I think it was an RoA)

That's what I was getting at...I haven't seen that TNG episode with Troi's "baby" in a long time, so I wonder how I would look at it now....

And I agree with all of you....the shows they have on those kiddie stations are ok, but THAT'S supposed to be reality?

Everytime I watch some of the far-out ones (Teletubbies, Lazy Town) I remember a line from one of my all-time favorite movies, The Birdcage: "I feel like I'm insane".

Thanks to everyone for your input...nice to connect with fellow parents!

Lazytown is.......I dunno it's like you're on acid. I have a theory that pretty much all of the surreal kids TV series with the subversive themes a la The Prisoner were created by people who indulged in psychotropic drugs regularly.

There are some adult shows that I watch that I KNOW must be written by people when they're high (Always Sunny, Family Guy, South Park, Arrested Development, etc..)...but shouldn't kid shows be spared that?

Or maybe that's what it takes for some grown-ups to write material for kids! LOL

I remember having certain emotions as I watched this episode. Sisko was confined to drift through eternity.

If it was myself, I would have discovered the truth, and then I would have left him to watch me and my children to grow into an adult and live a long life in peace.

You know you've been watching too much of your child's TV shows if you become really excited when you've discovered that 2 different characters from 2 way different programs have the same voice.
