Default Hi-Res Pics!

http://trekmovie.com/2008/12/30/supe...tar-trek-2009/

Edit: Sorry, false alert. I don't see any differences. They may have been rescaled, but there is no more information in them.

Where is the source for the official window confirmation?
Btw, they should release the department insignia wallpapers... it's been that long...

In the pic with Spock you can see the forward part of the saucer section through the main viewer, if you take a close look you can see the huge letters of the registry number. It looks very much as if one would look through a window into the darkness. Looks very real.

That doesnt make it a window allready. But combined with the huge window of the Kelvin it sure is another hint.

The high-res pic of the new ship is also much darker and has a completely different lighting.

How can a higher resolution make the ship look better? Thats nonsense. You meant to say the picture is a better one. But the resolution has absolutely no effect on the design. Its the same ship, no matter what resolution.

The same goes to Saquist, of course. Its not the resolution, its the ship.

The glass does make it a window. Believe me that is the very definition of.."window"

Let's put it this way...how closely do you really want to examine...butt ugly things....

answer: from a distance.

his res shots are ace. bit confused by the viewscreen shot though, the front light on the saucer, should that be dead center at the front? It if is, then the bridge is off at a funny angle, or the view from the screen is in that shot..the line to the right of the screen is the centerline..
