If you're talking about the new movie, I'm gonna ask you to stop being negative about it, give it a chance. You might actually enjoy yourself (GASP!). Look, were it going to be a remake of the first Star Trek movie, I would agree with you that it would likely be crap, but even that movie began in the mid-generation timeline, not TOS. From all I've heard about the movie to come, it's going to be fantastic... so, please give it a shot before bashing it into the ground?!

The first 'elite force' game was released on playstation. Had star trek Enterprise continued then a prequel of the game involving the MACO could have been a posibility.

yeah i would love to see that and they could do a lot with the new generation of game systems. and i did love the fps side of star trek. its the interaction with the ships that i like. something else id like to see is it to be a bit more like you star as an ensign but you work your way up to a captain almost like a rpg and you can make your own choices about the game.

Over-sensitive much? I only said that the most recent 2 efforts to do something new in Star Trek have focused on the past, and that I would prefer to go forward. I liked Enterprise, and I'm sure I'll like this new movie. I'm just saying that if it were up to me, I'd move ahead.
