Here is something you don't see every day, the Kirk Action Figure finds a Toy LightSaber in the Giant Stocking he was in, ofcres he dose not know what it is and starts waving it around and knock off the Tall Yellow Magi's Hat off.

because I wonted this to be a play that was timless. that why Space captain can be any Space hero, if other people down the road wonted to use the story they would be able change it up abit. ofcore Space Captain Looks like Kirk, but thats because I wrote it and I wonted to Play Kirk my whole life and this was my only way that i'd get to do it. hey if some one was to do the play besides me and they wont to name him kirk... I'd say go for it. I just hope that Paramount does not come after them, and that was my othere resone. my producer did not wont to take any chances.

It's cooler that way too because now it'll seem like an inside joke for those who DO recognize the characters for who they are supposed to be. I'm sure there are a few people in the audience who didn't know! And you're right, you avoid the copyright infringement BS as well. I say, definitely copyright your work, keeping it as generic as possible. This will allow anyone else producing it to portray the characters as they wish. Who knows, maybe someone will have "Space Captain" protrayed as Han Solo- imagine him fighting Indy? ![]()
