I wrote an article about the concept of a Lego Star Trek Video game and I was wondering what your thoughts are. Click the image to read the article:

I'm up for any Star Trek game, as long as the developers put their hearts into it and don't rush it...

LEGO just celebrated their 50th birthday! I loved LEGO as a kid and would love to see an actual LEGO playset based on the new film.
I've never quite understood the whole LEGO-as-videogame thing, but whatever clicks your blocks.

Whatever clicks your blocks, HA! I like that!
I didn't think a whole lot about the lego video games until I actually played it and found them to be very well done and loads of fun! |

If it were done as well as the Star Wars one and spanned across TOS and the TOS movies for the first version then I would certainly be getting it.

Why span across multiple generations for the first version? I'd rather see an in-depth TOS version, then an in-depth TNG, DS9, VOY etc etc.
By cramming in more generations in one game it 'sounds good' but you miss out on alot of the detail you can get if you focus on a single series per game.

One of the things I liked about Lego Star Wars was manipulating the bricks - pretty easy for a Jedi to do - how would the Federation pull it off?
Two more options: RTS like the underappreciated Lego Rockraiders game or a Rube Goldberg puzzler like Lego Alpha Team. (I think I've revealed too much about my playing habits. )

I'd be up for one. But, I'd hope it would be a bit more challenging than the Star Wars version.

Interesting idea. Why don't you send it off to the powers-that-be? I think it could be a great game if time and attention were put into it.
