Maybe you should buy a whole other ticket just for that giant tottering edifice - in the back row, of course, 'cause I don't want it sitting in front of me.

We know that when the movie come out and 90% of the fans like it ...Zim will still blast it anyway...just so he feels that he is not wrong.

Personally, I like the new Enterprise (exterior,bridge,etc.). Putting the original on the big screen would look so hokey and any chance at getting non-Trekkies to see the show in a believable light would be lost.

I really have to agree! It has to be updated in order to fit the times.

I disagree. Looking at both the original and the revised ship, the actual differences aren't that really profound--except to Trekkies. I would gather that most non-Trekkies would think they are using the same hokey ship from that hokey TV series.

But very dramatic lighting does wonders for any spaceship, IMO...

Star Trek New Voyages/Phase II uses a nice version of TOS-E.

At least until Enemy: Starfleet comes out, when they switch over to the 1/2 refit "Phase II" design

I look forward to seeing that in action! Looks neat in the renderings I saw a while back.

Thats because you are comparing the secondary hull to the nacelle, the picture from the teaser is in between the two leads that stick out of the back of the nacelle (i dont know what their called)
