Success is atleast 300 million, Superman Returns made 391 million/209 million production costs and Hollywood wont work with Bryan Singer for the next Superman movie :O So who thinks JJ can pull it off??? How much audience does he need to capture?????

Start a poll. Lets see if we can predict how much this film is going to pull in.

I vote: 150-180 million tops.

I read somewhere years ago that breaking even in Hollywood is earning around double your production cost at the box office, since after the production team's done making the movie, it still needs to be printed onto thousands of reels of film, distributed, and advertised, and that runs into some serious coin. The marketing budget for a blockbuster especially is pretty big.

Superman Returns by that math would've been a mild loss with a dynamite IP, so you could see why Singer would be out of favor with the studio...

Of course, since they've moved it from a winter to summer release, it looks like Paramount's expecting this movie to make a LOT of money.

I can personally guarantee it will gross $18.
