Cool

Do we know that for sure (that the E would have looked the same) or would it still be Ryan Church's bizarre reworking anyway?

I never liked Church's design, he's a good artist no doubt but just doesn't have the panache from the likes of Probert, Mcquarrie & the likes, Im sure he got great grades in his college art class though..but I think he has alot to answer for with the new E design seriously, can anyone figure out WHY you'd want the proportions he gave it..? Other than it'd look great in a cartoon form..there's absolutely no practicality I can imagine? I know its a movie, but to have a good design thought thru with practicality or engineering process's in mind really helps..thats what made TMP ships SO GOOD! They dont have to look like that..but if you can put a bit more thought behind it other than making it look 'cool' like a corvette?!
