Orion Slave Girl
So... on imdb the credits for the new movie include an "Orion Slave Girl".. Is this the girl Kirk's in bed with in the trailor? Shouldn't good guy Kirk be freeing slaves and not sleeping with them? We already know he's a stud. Hopefully, if this is her, she is showing her gratitude to him for saving her and not just earning a living. Does anyone know?
I know this sounds prudish but Star Trek is supposed to be about hope for a better future for everyone. Not just men. As much as I loved TOS, it was rather sexist. I know it was the times. The first pilot was less sexist since Majel Barrett was cast as first officer. But that was too progressive. Casting an alien as first officer was more believable.

Well actualy that orion is a Cadet at the Academy, and i beleive that that is Rachel Nichols' character. The Slave girl i think is played by Diora Baird.
