Default Enterprise space station - Which ship would you choose?

I had an interesting thought from another post. Someone wrote that the TOS enterprise could be built today with the technology we have.

Wouldn't it be cool if some gazillionare built the Enterprise and it would just orbit the planet like a space station? The ultimate cruise ship? probably wouldn't be able to solve the gravety problem. Beaming up is not an option. You would have to get there by space shuttle.

So, if you could choose an enterprise design that would be in earth orbit, which one would it be? and why?

See you in Ten Forward!

Well, as a "Station" orbiting the Earth as a "Tourist Attraction"; then I'd have to go with the 1701-D. If I'm going on vacation, I want to be in as much luxury as I can afford.

NCC-1701-A, Constitution class (refit). I just love that ship.

Personally, I'd like to see a full-size mockup of the Enterprise built in a large building, with an outside dressing made to look like the TMP Drydock, so people can have an immersive experience, including the view from various windows.

BTW, I think this thread would be more appropriate in General Discussion...

You are right, I'm sorry I started it here. I got the Idea from another thread I started about this movie. Thought it would be fun.

a space ship the looks like enterprise could possible be made but it would have warp speed or anything you could have rockets instead of nacelles. and nasa may start using deflector dishes soon to deflect micro meteorites and space debrea like that 200000 tool box the lady dropped.
