Default Nimoy's eyes.

The new picture of Nimoy as (old) Spock in Star Trek XI. His eyes are so incredibly expressive. It is so like he's trying to tell us something important just by the way he's looking at us. I don't know what it is exactly, but that picture just struck a chord in me somewhere. Maybe I'm just getting sentimental, but it almost seems like he's passing the torch. I think I'm gonna cry now.

Well, think about the setting for a moment...

Kirk has been dead for how long, and here before Spock, is his long lost friend, and yet, because of a responsibility to the timeline...Spock can't really tell him anything.

Spock is finally facing Kirk's moment with Edith Keeler.
