Wow... by today's standards, that trailer looks terrible xD Dodgy dialogue, over-reliance on spamming the hokey visual effects... Hardly a good introduction to the movie

Thank god, i thought i would be crucified if i said TMP was a bad movie, atleast we can be sure JJ wont make it like TMP, and let me see...........wasnt Roddenberry the one who made TMP the stinkfest it was? Give JJ a chance, he has his own genius, let him try it out in ST.

Kids....Trek was always about making money for the people behind it....that's why we got crap episodes with crap effects....Roddenberry would never do something like give up his pay for a episode so they could hire a better script writer.

Money = success = future Trek....

They're not. But if that's all that matters to the creators, then why do they give us this pseudo-Trek, instead of what we really want? Wouldn't that make them even more money? Or are our pocketbooks not deep enough for them?
