I'm pretty sure you didn't intend to offend anyone. Though this may offend some, and I do not care:

Anyone who goes out of their way to find offense where no offense is intended... deserves to be offended. When you make a big production out of having hurt feelings, it's pretty obviously done as a weapon against those whose opinions you disagree with in order to intimidate or guilt trip them into complying with your will.

What Josh did wasn't cool, but it was uncool without intention or malice.

That was one of my favorite Bloom County cartoons - where everyone ended up being offended by something, no matter how inane it was. Here's a nice summing up:

A classic "Bloom County" cartoon of the 1980s has Opus the penguin sitting on a park bench watching a host of people pointing out things about each other that they find offensive, till they all realize, "Life is offensive!" At which point they all run off screaming in horror. Opus sums up the spectacle thus: "Offensensitivity."

I don't know about anyone else, but I am offended by this.
(just for clarification, yes, I'm joking.)

As far as quotes go: it's one of Paddy Chayefsky's best. Lumet didn't write a word of it.

Yup. Just double checked. TheSaint is the guy who wrote the "Gor" satire. Beats me why I mixed him up with William X. I guess that guy's BS has been just festering in my thoughts since he screwed over an otherwise successful thread.

Again, I apologize for that bit of diareha of the mouth.
