Anyone ever watch it? And what did you think of it?

I don't remember for sure, but I believe I watched the first episode of this - since it was from a Gene Roddenberry idea, after all. As I recall, it made so little impact I didn't stick with it.

That was a long time ago, though. I would've been 13 or 14.

I watched it for a while I gotta got out of about the last season it got a bit out there.

No, he means the tv series called andromeda, the sci fi channel sometimes has all day andromeda marathons, but I have yet to watch it.

It was ok, kinda hard to follow. I lost track when they brought in that blonde.

Rommie was hot.

Andromeda was a show that received a lot of hate from the internet community during its run, yet it ran for five seasons--which is kinda extraordinary these days for a sci-fi series. The biggest complaint was that it catered to the "lowest common denominator" in which each episode was fairly predictable and generally featured space battles, laser gun fights, lots of things being blown up, and very sexy people in tightfitting leather going kung-fu on each other.

I loved it myself.

To me, it was a good popcorn series. The stories were easily forgettable, but it was the kind of show that you could watch any episode at random and get the general gist of what was going on...and then promptly forget about it five minutes later and wonder what was the story really about. It was Hercules In Space at times, even without Kevin Sorbo as the series star...
