Default Any Tie ins possible?

I read somewhere that Abrams would give some omages or nods to the history of Star Trek. I wonder if he will tie in Enterprise with this new movie. I think it would be great to at least mention Archer or T'pol. It could even be possible for Tpol to still be alive at this time. I think it would be a nice gesture to Berman and all the years that Star Trek has been on. Wouldn't it be a kick to include a mention of Sybok? The Vulcan Princess had to have been Sareks first wife since Paran was next. What are your thoughts?

There is a mention of Archer. The spoiler is floating around in one of the threads here.

Not sure about which thread it is in, but basically Scotty was exiled for beaming Porthos into nothingness, or something like that.

I'd REALLY be surprised if it was Porthos though... Probably Aramis.

An old girlfriend's mother had this beagle I was crazy about. Even after her daughter and I broke up we stayed in touch. When the dog got pregnant, I was the first one she called. Four males in the litter - four musketeers. I've had Porthos since he was six weeks old.

What I mean is I seriously doubt THAT Porthos was still around so many decades later to be the victim of Scotty's accident. We're talking on the order of what? 80+ years after Enterprise? That's like 560 in Dog years.

It cannot be Porthos, but Archer had dogs around him since he was a kid, so it is probably the eighth or nineth beagle.
Anyway, a nice inside-joke and we likely will get more, like the "little blonde lab technician" or something like that.
