Well I like the idea of Ridley Scott doing a Star Trek movie. I would also like to see Quentin Tarantino do one but... he might make it too gory and violence driven. Martin Scorsese could maybe do it. Tim Burton....it might be too dark though if he did it. Peter Jackson possibly I really have no idea.

I also think that Ridley Scott would be a great choice. And I hope against hope that Paramount will never let Tarantino get anywhere near Star Trek. He may be a great director but I don't want Trek to be turned into a blood bath. As for Michael Bay, I agree with Ditroi: the visual aspect would be mind-blowing but the story and dialog could suffer.
