Right now I'd have to say Stargate Atlantis, although so far Season 4 isn't as good as the two that came before it. Then there's SG1, The X-Files, The Outer Limits (the newer version) and someone else mentioned Space: 1999? Coolness...
 It also scared me sh%#less sometimes when I was a kid but I just couldn't stop watching it. That's how much I loved it.

I really miss farscape...
Do The Wonderpets count as sci fi? I mean.. they have gone into space before, and they do ride around on a ufo type thingy :P

Firefly - Great writing, great characters - really wish they had fleshed out more character-based stories though - "Two by two. Hands of Blue". That never went anywere. Too many one off episodes for such a character drama
New BSG - again great writing, great characters - Story arcs are way too long though. It takes forever for anything to happen which I also did not like in Babylon 5. Cylons are a bit too randomly evil for me. X Files - It's like will never be seen again. Mix CSI before CSI existed, the Twilight Zone, and even a bit of Alfred Hitchcock-like suspense. While I was not a fan of the monster episodes, the intrigue and conspiracies mixed with the Sci-Fi elements made a unique show that I often enjoyed. Move over Marg Helgenberger, Gillian Anderson did it first and did it better. What a crush I had on Scully. Farscape - While I liked many aspects of the show, I just could not get into it.

Farscape, Babylon 5 and Doctor Who, probably. It looks like a lot of people have mentioned those 3 too.
Edit: Oh yes, and Stargate. I really enjoyed most of SG1 and what I've seen of Atlantis so far. Last edited by The Doctor : 02-12-2008 at 07:46 PM.

I would have too say Firefly and Stargate SG-1 are my other sci-fi favourites.

Battlestar Galactica is my favorite alongside Star Trek. X-Files is also an excellent series (the movie was great too).

Star Trek is really the only Sci-Fi show I watch right now I have several series in my queue on Netflix. Unless you count Charmed, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer then Trek is the only one I have watched.
