We all know that Star Trek is not just for geek's, nerds or any of thoes.
But if you don't know anything about Star Trek thats what people tend to associate it with. What they need to do is get much more aggressive with the marketing. What I mean by that is in the trailers, bigger explosions and more shooting, In order to escape from the geek nerd category. They did a good job of that with trailer 2 but I'm talking about bringing it to a whole new level. Give me your thoughts thanks. |

I don't know why people are bellyaching over trailer 2 and calling it the next Star Wars.
The Dark Knight had two action packed trailers and still ended up telling a quality story full of morality conundrums, betrayal, drama and such and also might I add ended up as being arguably the best movie of the year. I do however think that the obvious upcoming final full length trailer for Star Trek should focus a little more on the story though. As for other marketing ventures, I want a black command shirt with the insignia on it, like the one Chris Pine is wearing, like now...I want it now, please. ![]() |
