I'll be the first to admit that Shat-Kirk is anything but monogamous, but as far as reliability goes, he's the absolute cream of the crop. He can be totally relied on to save the Galaxy, every single time.

He's very monogamous- he's deidcated to the Enterprise. Now were he not a starship captain, he might make for a better husband.

Yea there is always that half Romulan girl from Ashes of Eden. He was good to here until he went and died, but have no fear he brought himself back to life lol. *shrug*

Still I think Pine will be a fine Kirk. I think all the cast members are good so far.

both attractive men, being a straight dude, and totally secure in my sexuality I can say with all honesty, yeah pines hotter, but something makes me think there's something psychological in there, like because we know what old shat looks like, we're less inclined to think the guy who's already out of his prime, is less sexy

don't know, could be...

Seriously Pine is by today's standards hotter BUT Young Shatner had that look in his eyes that says he'd play poker with the Devil and BEAT him.

A sort of Sly invincibility.

Shatner was very attractive for his time. Fashion, sadly is a reality...

Also....I'm sort of a fan of body hair....and Shatner shaved (yes, the times required that)...Pine at least gets to give me a bit of "tuft" on the chest....

Oh, hell...he's young, he's cute!

Shatner was young and cute, but that was 40 years ago.

Oh hey! Another fan of body hair! Me too. I like the way it wick's away all that sweat. It's also handy for insulating your body from the cold, and makes handy-dandy emergency tooth floss. You can also stuff a pillow with it. But the absolute bestest thing ever about body hair, is that no matter how much of it you cut, wax or depillitate off of you, more always grows back! Three cheers for body hair! Hip, hip, hairray! Hip, hip, hairray! Hip, hip, hairray!

Shatner did have body hair in TMP and was still pretty young.

Just pointing that out, but I am not a fan of body hair myself. Pine doesn't have that much so it is cute. Not a fan of to much body hair I should say.
