Default What Part Of Canon Do You Hope Abrams Kept?

Serious question. What part of TOS that makes it different from every other show out there do you absolutely love enough that you sincerely do not want to see it thrown out?

Exploring New Worlds.

That's what this show was based on. This isn't Star Wars.

Stargate SG1 and Atlantis have that.

Are you wanting to know people's answers to your question, or are you wanting to shoot down people's answers to your question? Just curious.

All of these along with the aforementioned exploring new worlds. Those are essential elements of ST.
Particularyly, the Kirk, Spock, Bones relationship. I'm excited to see that from the beginning and see how their bonds form.

The more posts I read by Saint the more I realize he's a very angry sad person.

Everytime anyone posts anything he has a negative comment.

I have to agree....hopefully this thread subject isn't just a ploy to get people to say what they like about Trek, then have it thrown back in their face in a negative way....

Hopefully the little strings that helped the Enterprise fly/shake/stumble/wobble it's way through space haven't been discarded...

I may have to not see the movie until at least the second show if the strings aren't in the movie!
