Im surprised to see one of the original stars of TOS getting involved in this show, its third rate and hugely criticised for being the last Haven for failing stars

I bet the paycheck has something to do with it... I wonder how much you make on one of those shows?

I would not class this as third rate.
It is a lot lower than that... Not that I have watched it. My opinion is prejudging this show because I never intend to watch it!

Gazza was offered £500,000 to do it a few years back.

rayq81 - how do you define "third rate"? It's one of ITV's highest rated shows.

That's a lot of money. BTW, is the sign for pounds above the number 4 on your keyboard? Just curious.

$ is above the 4, with € beside it. £ is above the 3.

All the contestants are either desperate for work or too senile to realise the show is designed to make them look stupid.

So far without attempting to actually watch it or read anything connected to it I've seen him peeing in bushes and rubbing cream on someone's butt - fascinating and insightful!!

This is why I can't watch grubby reality shows!!

For that kind of $$ I'd watch a whole season of Survivor.
