Anyone notice that when the corvette comes screaming out and crashes through the gate the top is up and as it is pursued and flies off the cliff the top is down. Does our 10 year old Kirk stop for coffee? crank the top down while driving? or is the opening drive a seperate drive from the one that wrecks the car?

Not even JTK would have the audacity to to deface a Chevrolet work of art (how's that for an oximoron) by putting a power roof in a 63? Vette.

Chopped phase cannon under the hood, that's different...works for me.

Just poking to see if any of the purest noticed enough to take issue with the top up / top down thing.

I am sure we will see how the top is removed or taken down. It's no big deal.

Even without a power top if Kirk throws the latches keeping it down while driving at a fast speed....

Well, it takes a swan dive off a quarry cliff edge, I think it matters not how the roof came off once the owner finds mangled metal at the bottom of the drop!!

WOAH!! I just stepped into the Star Trek universe, my dad finally coaxed me into watching some TOS episodes, and it's awesome. And for once in my life, awesome timing: new movie of my favourite series this year!

Music in this trailer is AMAZING, I hope the OS is just as impressive. Fantastic editing in this too, just little tiny tempting tastes of everything. Usually I'm not into rehacks or prequels but this just looks too awesome, I really hope they do TOS justice. Warp us to May!
