What, did the things shut off during those three seconds for absolutely no reason whatsoever? It really is getting ridiculous. Somebody has a complaint, and inevitably somebody comes up with, "Watch the whole movie first before you complain about something we know is in the movie!"

Seriously, please, it's in there, if somebody doesn't like it they'll either go see the movie anyway or they won't. Granted, we don't know everything -- but telling us we don't know what we do know is just insulting.

maybe it left drydock without a little unfinished!

It's a spaceship, so "up" and "down" are less critical Plenty of other ships have low-slung nacelles, after all.

As for the engines glowing at the rear... warp plasma flows in from the front, so discharge from the rear seems logical. Also, didn't they say that the warp nacelles also house manoeuvering engines in the new version of the ship?
