Default This Enterprise Nacelle caps wont glow in the film.

I have been to Aqua's website where he has downloaded 72 screencaps from the trailer and in every scene from where we see her leaving the space station while going to warp and other screeshots of her at warp which they are close up shots, they are not glowing. I noticed over at Trekweb that the Enterprise new designer said as he was defending his design that the angle they chose to unveil the ship didn't do it justice because he said that the nacelle caps are dimmed in this one and that you have to see other angles to do the ship justice. Only the rear end of the engines will glow as you can see in the screencaps. What do you think?

Basically, your saying that -- After you watched a three second glimps of the Enterprise from the trailer, you drew the conclusion that the Nacelle caps will not glow now or any other time in the movie? Wow. You must be psychic or something. I think I'm going to hold back judgement until I actually see the movie. Don't be so Freudiant.

Well I think after looking at a frozen screencaps of a ship traveling at Warp in the trailer not once but twice coming at you that you would see the brussard Collectors glowing and working on the warp engines. They werent. But of course Pikes ship in the cage pilot didnt glow either as well as Kirks ship in WNMHGB, so maybe is JJ sticking to canon

Don't worry. I'm pretty sure they will glow in the movie. The shots that were cut and pasted into the treailer probably need a little finishing up. The movie still has almost 6 month before release.

I noticed that they weren't glowing either. Mabye JJ is sticking to canon about Pike's ship or he wanted some chrome rims

No. Doesn't really matter, but I would be disappointed if the nacelles didn't glow up in front. It would look strange in my opinion.

The engines of the Excelsior, Constellation, Oberth, Constitution Refit, Miranda etc...didn't glow that often.

It didn't bother me.

I noticed that too, but really, we didn't get that many shots of the ship. I agree that they will glow in the movie when we get to see much more of her. I love what I have seen so far!!!! I love the shot with Pike and Kirk over his shoulder!

Do they have round globe looking things in the front?
