Default Glass Viewscreen Bridge

I dont know if anyone else has noticed this, but when I zoomed in and lightened the pic of the Kelvin, you can clearly see the bridge viewscreen window. I couldn't get a clear bridge view of the E from the trailer. Even though the Kelvin is "thought" to be an older ship, can we assume it will be similar in design?

I think is has a "cockpit" of sorts because it is indeeed, an older ship. This would also not really go against canon in that the federation never saw what Romulans look like. This could be a genuine way of explaining that. If you don't have a "viewscreen" there is no way that you can speak face to face with an opponent.

Then again, that may not even be the bridge. On top, there is a little dome. That might be the bridge and this glass could possibly be something like ten-forward on the Enterprise D. I say this because the window is just too big to be a viewscreen. It takes up an entire deck compared to the rest of the windows which i'm assuming are on different decks.

Possibly it shows up more clearly as the Kelvin is a smaller ship, but in that image, I have to say it does look more like an actual window.

It is the veiwscreen as there is now where else for the view screen to be. The Entrpise woul dhave the tradional Trek viewscreen to show development in technology.

if you look at the bridge size ratio to the airlock on the enginering section, it looks like a full size brige dome. Even if it is much smaller that the E, they wouldn't have a "cockpit", they would have a full bridge. Perhaps Spock is standing in front of a viewscreen in a similar ship during the KM test with Kirk. It never said what kind of ship is was in the test. That might make sense for the shorter distance out the window to the NCC lettering.

It's interesting to have noticed - as you say, perhaps it will become clear later.

The Kelvin, she is a sexy best

I hope they put that level of detail to the E. In that pic she looks kinda naked without any hull markings...

See, in the pic i uploaded, there is no way that is the bridge. Look at the other windows comparatively. And, if it is the bridge, then either a.) the bridge is very tall and is all glass in front, or b.) the other windows on the ship are VERY tiny.

The Kevin is a nice looking beast, and the bridge does have glass on it. Where else could the bridge be on a Starfleet ship.
